Canadian whistleblower exposes Canadian officials of Ukrainian descent that help Neo Nazis

Azov is a Ukrainian paramilitary organization.

But according to the U.S. State Department, Azov is a, "nationalist hate group," and according to the U.S. FBI, Azov is a "neo Nazi" paramilitary organization.

I received a tip from an infuriated Canadian working in Ukraine that shared information about a meeting he and others had with the Canadian Ambassador to Ukraine, Roman Waschuk (Twitter: @WaschukCanUA). Waschuk is a Canadian of Ukrainian descent who constantly travels between Canada and Ukraine.

The whistleblower claims Canada's Ambassador to Ukraine asked Canadians at that meeting to support and fund Azov (a neo Nazi group) but not in 'any detectable way.'  In other words, to do it, but to do it in a way that stays out of the public spotlight.

Naturally, I demanded proof that Azov was being backed at the highest levels of the Canadian government and through Ukrainian diaspora associations in Canada.  My source delivered.

Some of those organizations became careless and publicized their fundraisers for Azov on tightly controlled Facebook groups, as you see below, apparently believing they would not be noticed.

Ms. Kuzyshyn continues to work on issues related to Canadian defense despite assisting a dangerous neo Nazi organization.

Clearly, this poses an unacceptable risk to ethnic, religious, and sexual minorities in Canada, Norway (where the meeting was held), and the rest of the EU. Most western Europeans are completely in the dark as to who their new fellow Azov citizens actually are.

Azov members commonly use neo Nazi emblems, like the "SS Black Sun" (top photo: elbow); Swastikas (seen in Ukrainian embroidery patterns on forearm); and the 'Wolfsangel' symbol of the Third Reich (bottom photo, T-shirt).

Azov works with related neo Nazi groups in Ukraine and they have killed, beaten, abused, and tormented many minority groups.

In an excellent article titled, "Defend the White Race," Bellingcat has written about how the U.S. FBI already noted in court documents that Azov has tried to arm and train extremists and white supremacists in the U.S.

Whether mainstream media will call-out western officials, or investigate them, for backing this group remains to be seen.

Nevertheless, inviting this group into Canada, Western Europe, or the U.S. should be a red line for any decent person, particularly in light of the mayhem Azov has already caused, and continues to cause, in Ukraine.
